1. Photos and converted files

When you choose files, your browser reads the photos and filenames to convert them, show progress, and create downloads. Original photos, their embedded metadata, converted JPGs, and ZIP files are processed locally in the browser. PicConv has no photo upload endpoint or server-side photo storage.

Results remain available in the current page until you start a new selection, reload, or leave the page. Stopping conversion keeps earlier successful results available. Downloading a file does not by itself clear the results. Files you download remain on your device until you delete them; PicConv cannot retrieve or delete those copies.

The converter creates JPGs from image pixels and does not copy original GPS, camera, or capture-date metadata into the output. Browsers may include basic image information, such as dimensions and color space.

2. Website delivery and connection information

We use Cloudflare to host, deliver, and protect PicConv. When your browser requests a page or converter code, Cloudflare processes connection and request information, which may include your IP address, browser information, requested URL, and request time. This is used to deliver the site, maintain availability, and protect against abuse.

Cloudflare may process this information in countries other than your own. Its handling and retention of service data depend on the services used and its applicable policies. The local-only handling of photos does not mean that no connection information is processed.

3. Cookies, advertising, and analytics

PicConv currently has no advertising scripts. Cloudflare Web Analytics collects page-visit and performance information, such as the page URL, browser information, and page-load timings. Cloudflare adds its analytics script when delivering the site. Photo files and filenames are not included in the converter’s network requests.

The converter does not use cookies, local storage, or a browser database to keep your photos or conversion history.

Cloudflare security features may use cookies when required for the features enabled on the site, for example to remember a passed security challenge. The cookies used and their lifetimes depend on those features. See Cloudflare’s cookie information below.

4. Information you send in a message

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, any name you provide, and the contents of your message. We use this information to respond to your question or resolve the issue, and keep it only as long as needed for that purpose or an applicable legal obligation.

Do not send private photos or sensitive personal information with an initial support request. A description of the issue, your browser, and the error message is usually sufficient.

5. Your choices and requests

You choose which photos to open and when to download them. You can stop a conversion and start a new selection, or close the page to end the current session. Manage downloaded copies using your device’s file controls.

For questions or requests about personal information held through your correspondence with us, use the contact below. Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information. We cannot access photos that stay on your device.

6. Changes to this policy

We will update this page and its date when our data practices change. If we add advertising or change our analytics services, we will describe the providers and data use and introduce any required choices or consent before enabling them.
